Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website.

1. Our commitment

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not had this website formally certified, and we continue to improve it.

2. What we've done

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link;
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators;
  • Labels, hints and clear error messages on every form field;
  • Colour contrast checked in both light and dark themes;
  • Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting;
  • Responsive layouts that work when zoomed and on small screens;
  • Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) across phone, tablet and desktop sizes.

3. Settings you can change

  • Theme: switch between light and dark with the sun/moon button in the header.
  • Retro cursor: on computers, the site uses a pixel-art cursor. If you use an enlarged or high-contrast system cursor, switch it off with the "Retro cursor" button at the bottom of every page. It is turned off automatically in Windows high-contrast mode.

4. Known limitations

  • The dashboard on the home page is a decorative illustration; its sample figures are hidden from screen readers.
  • The help assistant offers preset questions only; for anything else please email us.

5. Report a problem

If you find something difficult to use, email hello@emlycode.com with the subject "Accessibility feedback", the page address and what happened. We'll do our best to fix it, and to provide the information you need in another way in the meantime.
